MEDFORD, OREGON —Lindsey Olson, a member of the employee benefits department at United Risk has been named the firm’s first Account Executive.

An integral part of the department’s operation since 2007, Olson’s new role allows her to bring in new business as well as support existing accounts. Key duties will include client inquiries, renewal marketing, and employer presentations as the department, which has continually been a top grossing line at the agency, continues to expand.

Continuing her insurance education, Olson is pursuing a Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) designation on top of her licensing in life and health insurance. She is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and will be participating in the 2011 Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program.

Prior to joining United Risk, Olson was a student at Southern Oregon University where she earned a BS in Human Communication in 2007 and led as captain of the women’s soccer team.
A native Oregonian, Olson moved to the Rogue Valley from Sandy, Oregon in 2003 where she now lives with her husband Mike and their daughter Maylee.
