Cindi Jayubo, workers' compensation and employee benefits consultant at United Risk Solutions, Inc. in Medford, recently earned a Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation. She is one of only 41 such designees in the state of Oregon.

CRM is a professional designation that demonstrates in-depth knowledge in all areas of managing risks, hazards, and exposures. This certification is for those working in risk management and related fields, such as financial, insurance, loss control, legal, accounting, and claims specialists.

CRM courses, conducted by The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research, cover all areas of risk management including principles of risk, analysis of risk, control of risk, financing of risk, and practice of risk management.

Ms. Jayubo has more than 23 years of insurance experience, including 13 years with SAIF Corporation, Oregon's leading workers' compensation insurance company. While at SAIF, she served as the regional operations director for the entire southern region of the state.

Ms. Jayubo joined United Risk Solutions in 2003, and heads the workers compensation department. She holds a CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation, and is licensed in insurance, health and life.

Ms. Jayubo is a native of Oregon and attended the University of Oregon in Eugene. She lives in Medford with her husband Bert and sons Jeremy and Kai.
